NH-2 Negotiators Headset

The lead negotiator wears this headset. It provides a dual closed muff headset and a microphone for communication. The headset is equipped with a mating connector for the TCU-02 base unit. The padded ear muff design provides for comfort during extended wearing periods while the closed muff provides isolation from outside noise. The microphone is not on unless the "Push to Talk" switch is depressed on the TCU-02 or on the RPT cable. This allows the negotiator freedom to speak to others assisting with the negotiation without the fear that a confidential conversation will be heard by the subject. The "Push to Talk" switch on the TCU-02 is provided with an indicator light that provides visual notification to the operator that unit is in the talk mode. Due to vendor changes the headset may not appere exactaly as showen. All functions are the same.
